Facebook pays people bounties to report bugs with the site -- and has now added Oculus, which it acquired in March -- to the program.
Newsbrief: Facebook has a program which encourages people outside the company to report security problems with the site -- by paying them a bounty. The company paid out $1.5 million in bounties in 2013 alone. Now, Oculus has been added to the bounty program, The Verge reports. Right now, Facebook -- which acquired Oculus in March -- is asking people to report vulnerabilities in the Oculus website and developer messaging system. Oculus recently launched its new DK2 headset with developers; for more on that, read this interview with its chief software architect, Michael Antonov.
