ok let's start with a bit of personnal informations.

I finish my bachelor degree in game development from a Canadian University (the name is not important) last month, but i started applying jobs for several months earlier.

I noticed a scary situation, almost every single job required between 3 and 5 years of experiences but the fact is : Almost junior developers does not have 3 to 5 years of experience ! It's my case to, i have only 1 year an half !

How junior programmers can make experience in video games industry, if there no jobs available for them ?

it's like a vicious circle and the're no end.

Someone will come and say "do indie stuff to gain experience". Yes of course it's an idea, but not always possible.

The only solution i found, for me at least, I apply these 2 or 3 to 5 years jobs even if don't meet perfectly the qualifications.

What do you think abou this actual situation ? maybe i'm alone in this case but i don't think its normal.

I don't know if someone have advices how to find a job as a junior, but what i'm sure is that any help will be greetly appreciate by me or any other juniors.
