As you already know, we are working on the development of a new adventure series based on the Hanna Barbara award winning Bottle Cap Kid.  So we thought we would actually show you the actual cartoon series that won this prestigious award J  Please keep in mind that the game we are making is “loosely” based on this cartoon.  The cartoon will probably seem a little dated to most of you, because it is.  That being said if you look at the 1960’s Batman and Robin and then tell me that would be the bases for “Batman Begins”…..you get the idea.  So here we go with a recap of the original cartoon by Frank Italiano.

Adventure after adventure, each one better than the last, our character Nicky (a.k.a. Bottle Cap Kid) explains today’s excitement to his family.  At today’s race car event, Nicky collected a new bottle cap that he knew was special.  It was as if this cap knew Nicky would be there today.

Off to his room Nicky runs while grasping this very special bottle cap.  You see, Nicky has the biggest collection of bottle caps, and because of his collection, he is nicknamed “The Bottle Cap Kid.”

Nicky stares at his bottle cap collection – ready to add his latest from today’s races.  Each one of these caps has a very special adventure.  The combination of bottle caps and Nicky’s imagination has endless possibilities.
