Character CG Generalist, Telltale Games

Location: San Rafael, California

Telltale Games is looking for a Character CG Generalist to join our art team in creating visually compelling and beautifully creative artwork! Working closely with the art team, the ideal candidate has a passion for art and the enthusiasm to expand their knowledge and further their skills! The Character CG Generalist will be supporting the art team floating between projects helping people/departments that have a large workload and handle the tech and low poly creation.

 Responsibilities:

  • Work with Art directors and Lead artists to create character and environment art for various projects.

  • Ability to model and texture in a variety of styles.

  • Manage character tech across all projects.

  • Solicit feedback from Art directors and Designers to accommodate gameplay features into art assets.

  • Maintain an understanding of all projects art needs and assist when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Maya, ZBrush, UVLayout, and Photoshop.

  • Experience working with game engines such as Unity and Unreal.

  • Demonstrate a strong skill set in rigging, modeling, lighting, texturing and materials.

  • Experience with shaders.

  • Ability to demonstrate both high-poly and low-poly modeling techniques.

  • Able to work collaboratively, as well as independently.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage time in an effective manner.
