Lighting Artist, Turtle Rock Studios

Location: Lake Forest, CA Turtle Rock Studios is seeking a Lead Lighting Artist to join our team, and work on an upcoming AAA title. The job will require working closely with designers, engineers and artists to create convincing, visually stunning environments. We are looking for artists who can thrive in a collaborative environment where the whole team works together for the benefit of all aspects of the game. Responsibilities:

  • Work with the environment team to define and implement final lighting for the game

  • Work with artists, designers, and engineers to create and improve next gen shaders

  • Work with designers and engineers to make visually stunning game art while maintaining good performance on next-gen platforms

  • Communicate effectively with the team to fulfill the visual goals of game assets and environments
