French middleware developer Omegame says Ubisoft Monstreal licensed Menus Master, its video game user interface toolchain, for "studio projects yet to be announced." Menus Master is designed to help artists and programmers to reduce the time it takes to author game user interfaces -- 2D and 3D front-ends, in-game UIs and heads-up displays. Omegame also says it built Menus Master to enable artists to author game user interfaces without assistance from programmers. Omegame's video game and serious game industry clients include THQ, Deibus Studios, Extrud, and Ubisoft, the last of which utilized Menus Master for the development of Dark Messiah of Might & Magic: Elements and Shaun White Snowboarding. "Our fans have high standards and our goal is to always surpass their expectations," says Ubisoft lead engine programmer Christian Huaux. "Menus Master helps us to develop user interfaces with flexibility and impact. That’s important to us as we look at ways to be creative and efficient at the same time."
