Montreal-based audio middleware firm Audiokinetic is the latest company to confirm support for new handheld platforms, as the company announced its Wwise solution will support the Nintendo 3DS. The company said that Wwise is currently being used in in-development 3DS games. The announcement comes after Audiokinetic said it was authorized to support Sony's codenamed NGP handheld. Pricing for Wwise for 3DS in the U.S. will be $5,000, while maintenance will be available for $1,000 a year.
