Today Gamasutra launches Advanced I/O Week. Read on to find out how your contributions can become part of our efforts to inform developers.
Starting today, Gamasutra is launching its latest themed content week -- this time, based around what we're calling "advanced I/O." We'll be highlighting ways to interact with games through emerging systems such as virtual reality, augmented reality, biofeedback, voice, and new kinds of controllers. Do you have any experience developing for these kinds of setups? Have you participated in a game jam centered on one of them? Have you played with Google Glass, Oculus Rift, or another new piece of hardware and have some design insights or tech tricks to share? Or have you come up with a great new art style that really makes sense of virtual reality? Well, if that's the case, we invite you to head over to Gamasutra's blog section to get started. We will promote the best pieces to our audience on the front page and via our Twitter feed. You can submit your stories directly to Gamasutra's blog section. Not sure what to write? Need to brainstorm? Just email blog director Christian Nutt and he'll help you with any questions.
