Gamasutra's on-site E3 2013 coverage starts Monday

It's E3 time again, and Gamasutra will be on site for the annual trade show. Here's a brief rundown of what we have planned!

Hard to believe: It's E3 time again. Over the next week, tens of thousands of game industry professionals will converge on the L.A. Convention Center and the surrounding area for the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo, where many of the industry's major players will be detailing their product strategies for the rest of 2013 and beyond. Beginning Monday, Gamasutra's editorial staff will be on location at E3 with on-site coverage of breaking events, interviews, and in-depth analysis tailored for our unique audience of game industry professionals. Sony and Microsoft will deliver platform-oriented press conferences during the week, while major third parties Electronic Arts and Ubisoft will hold individual conferences to discuss their upcoming lineups. Nintendo will be streaming its press conference through Nintendo Direct and an on-site presence at E3. This year also brings us the first-annual Horizon press conference, an alternative E3 event hosted by Venus Patrol and Los Angeles's Museum of Contemporary Art. The full press conference schedule, to be attended by Gamasutra, includes the following (you can also view most of the major E3 proceedings on Twitch TV): -Monday, 8:45 AM PDT: Microsoft Press Conference -Monday 1:00 PM PDT: Electronic Arts Press Conference -Monday, 3:00 PM PDT: Ubisoft Press Conference -Monday, 6:00 PM PDT: Sony Press Conference -Tuesday, 2:00 PM PDT: Microsoft Press Briefing -Thursday, 10:00 AM PDT: Horizon Press Conference You can also expect coverage from Nintendo's Direct stream on Tuesday, 7:00 AM PDT. In addition, with the E3 show floor opening at the Los Angeles Convention Center at on Tuesday, further game dev-focused coverage will run on Gamasutra throughout the week. We'll see you there!
