In the latest postings over the last seven days, Gamasutra's jobs board plays host to roles in every major discipline, including opportunities at Lucasfilm, Sucker Punch Productions, and others. Each position posted by employers will appear on the main Gamasutra job board, and appear in the site's daily and weekly newsletters, reaching our readers directly. It will also be cross-posted for free across Gamasutra's network of submarket sites, which includes content sites focused on independent games and more. Some of the notable jobs posted this week include: WayForward Technologies: Senior Programmer: "WayForward Technologies is an independent developer located in Valencia, CA. We are most well known for our 2D titles like Bloodrayne: Betrayal, Batman: Brave and the Bold, Mighty Swich Force and Shantae, but that's not all we do! Our more recent titles are Silent Hill: Book of Memories for the Vita and Double Dragon Neon for XBLA and PSN." Lucasfilm: Senior Producer, Digital Apps: "Lucasfilm Ltd. is one of the world's leading film and entertainment companies. Founded by George Lucas in 1971, it is a privately held, fully integrated entertainment company. In addition to motion picture and television production, the company's global businesses include visual effects, sound, video games, licensing and online activity." Sucker Punch Productions: Rendering Programmer/Rendering Software Engineer: "In 1997, we started Sucker Punch Productions to make great games, and we’ve spent the last 14 years doing just that. We produced three award-winning PS2 games starring the wily raccoon thief Sly Cooper, all of which met with critical acclaim, commercial success, and file cabinets full of fan mail. Some of it written in crayon. In May 2009, we released the open-world superhero game Infamous, which set the stage for Cole MacGrath's story and met with excellent reviews and solid footing at the top of the PS3 sales charts. June 7, 2011 marked the launch of Infamous 2 that furthered Cole's superhero action-adventure story. As for our next game… well, that’s where you come in!" Spacetime Studios: Programmer - Mobile MMOs: "Spacetime Studios is an independent game developer and publisher located in Austin, Texas. The company was founded in late 2005 by online game veterans Cinco Barnes, Gary Gattis, Jake Rodgers and Anthony L. Sommers. Their mission is to create a social gaming ecosystem where people play together regardless of device or location." 2K Sports: UI Art Lead - 2K Sports: "Recently deemed the world’s “most consistent developer”* of quality videogames, Visual Concepts is the award-winning studio known for 2K Sports and its innovation, unparalleled realism and commitment to delivering the best sports simulation gaming experience to consumers, including the #1-rated and #1-selling basketball franchise NBA 2K.
