Dr. Craig Lindley is researcher manager of The Interactive Institute's Zero-Game Studio, and visiting professor in the Institute for Engineering, Art and New Media at the University of Gotland, both in Sweden. His research focuses on methodologies for game design, new dramatic computer game forms, virtual characterisation, emergent narrative and believable agents in virtual environments.
Craig Lindley has an extensive research background in the areas of knowledge base systems, artificial intelligence, autonomous agents and interactive 2D and 3D systems. He has previously worked for the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) in Australia, and for Starlab NV/SA in Belgium. His work has included software engineering principles for knowledge base systems, autonomous agent architectures, robotics, intelligent video synthesis, AI and artificial life in VEs.
