Jolyon Webb is currently the Art Director at Blitz Games Studios. Originally trained as an illustrator, he worked freelance for ten years before moving to game development. Jolyon has spent the last decade on games development teams working as an Art Director and Technical Artist across a wide variety of titles. His ongoing focus is on making realistic and stylized humans more engaging in games, in addition to providing inspirational talks and tutorials to develop the skills of the next generation of developers through the company's education out-reach program Blitz Academy. In his current role he is responsible for establishing, developing, and managing the direction and execution of new art technologies and techniques within the studio, and is a true champion for art quality and pipeline efficiency.
