Michael M. Eilers is currently a Senior Instructor in the Games/Multimedia program at the University of Advancing Technology in Tempe, Arizona. He got his start programming games for the Apple ][ as a lad, and became a journalist and columnist for the games industry in the early '90s. He also spent three years as the Senior Editor for Inside Mac Games magazine, and is currently working on several game "mods" as well as independent original game projects.
