[Every other week, we examine the most popular Facebook games (according to monthly active users), looking at the top titles and developers on the social network to see who's attracting or losing players.] There's little movement in the top of the Facebook Games leaderboad lately -- Zynga continues to dominate the chart, though with some minor adjustments on its games' placement. CityVille is still the top app with 76 million monthly players, 3 million less than its count two weeks ago. Zynga's Empires & Allies, which remains at #2, managed to stem its user losses for the most part, keeping its audience at 44.3 million. FarmVile (33.6 million users), however, lost 1.3 million players and dropped to #4, replaced at #3 by another Zynga title, Texas HoldEm Poker (34.8 million users). Gardens of Time from Disney/Playdom breaks the Zynga streak, and sits at #5. The game has seen steady growth recently, and picked up half a million new users in the past two days, bringing its total count to nearly 16.4 million players. It's still a very long way from overtaking FarmVille, though! Zynga's FrontierVille, which just launched its Pioneer Trail expansion is at #6 with 11.8 million users, followed by Gaia Online's Monster Galaxy (10.5 million users), Zynga's Cafe World (10.3 million users), PopCap's Bejeweled Blitz (10 million users), and Wooga's Diamond Dash (9.6 million users). Outside of the top ten, the most significant jump is from RockYou's Zoo World, pushing into the top 20 at #13, with most of its growth likely coming from the release of a sequel under the same App ID (thus, the audiences from both the original and the follow-up are counted jointly in the 8.6 million total).
