Destiny is now the UK's fastest-selling new video game IP

Newsbrief: Bungie's Destiny is now the UK's fastest-selling new IP at retail, just three months after Ubisoft's Watch Dogs claimed the title, according to Chart-Track. While the PlayStation 4 accounted for 46 percent of Destiny sales, the sales split across PlayStation and Xbox platforms was actually 50/50. The PS3 accounted for 4 percent of sales, the Xbox One 36 percent, and the Xbox 360 for 14 percent. L.A. Noire previously held the record for best ever first week sales in the UK for a new IP, until Watch Dogs and Destiny came along and smashed it.
