Square Enix's Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 - Professional returned to the top of the Japanese software sales charts this week as handful of new releases made their way into the top 10, reports tracking firm Media Create. For the week ended April 25, Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 - Professional sold 74,000 units, followed by Image Epoch's PSP RPG Final Promise Story, which debuted at number two with 60,000 units sold. The PlayStation 3 version of Ignition's heavily-stylized action title El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron rounded out the top three, and sold 58,000 units in its first week. Two other new titles, SCE's Patapon 3 and Asgard's Starry Sky: In Winter Portable, also made the top 10 this week, landing at numbers four and nine, respectively. Last week's top selling title, Battle & Get! Pokemon Typing DS dropped to number five and sold 33,000 units, compared to 59,000 units last week. Titles falling from the top 10 this week include Nintendo's Pilotwings Resort, Namco Bandai's Detective Conan: Aoki Houseki no Rinbukyoku, Spike's GachiTora! Abarenbou Kyoushi in High School, and SCE's SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs 4. Below is Media Create's top 20 sales chart for the week ended April 25, 2011.
