Opinion: How will Project 2025 impact game developers?
The Heritage Foundation's manifesto for the possible next administration could do great harm to many, including large portions of the game development community.
It's been almost a month since we said goodbye to E3 2015, and now the Game Critics Awards has closed the books on this year's show by announcing the winners of its annual Best of E3 awards.
It's been almost a month since we said goodbye to E3 2015, and now the Game Critics Awards has closed the books on this year's show by announcing the winners of its Best of E3 2015 awards.
Representatives from 38 media outlets which cover the game industry voted on these awards, which afford industry watchers an opportunity to gauge the media's interest in upcoming game releases.
Developers at both Bethesda Game Studios and Naughty Dog are probably feeling pretty good about the results; following multiple award nominations, Fallout 4 and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End led the pack with 3 awards each, though it was Fallout 4 that was voted "Best of Show" for E3 2015.
Of course, these awards are based on the way these games are shown to critics in a playable state ahead of their actual release, and may have zero correlation with the quality of the final product. For your convenience, we've taken the liberty of reprinting the full list of this year's winners below:
