Newsbrief: Brisbane, Australia-based developer Halfbrick today revealed that its Xbox Live Arcade Kinect title Fruit Ninja Kinect, released last August, has now seen over 1 million downloads in total. Fruit Ninja was originally a smartphone game released in 2010, and was later translated into a Kinect game and released during the Xbox Summer of Arcade 2011. It's notable that the game also came free with purchases of retail game The Gunstringer, released last September, and that the one million downloads total includes these free copies.
