Newsbrief: Hamburg-based studio Fishlabs Entertainment today announced a large-scale restructuring at the company, including layoffs -- although it was keen to stress that it has not been dissolved. Back in July, Fishlabs underwent creditors' protection proceedings under self-administration, as it looked to greatly lower the running expenses of the company. While the company is still being self-administered now, it has laid off 25 staffers in the meantime from its marketing, art and programming departments. Fishlabs CEO Michael Schade noted, "This has been an extremely hard cut and the most difficult day for me and Fishlabs co-founder Christian Lohr in the history of our studio."
