Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, the fifth installment in the Ghost Recon series, took the top spot in the UK sales charts during a week of multiple new releases. For the week ended May 26, and according to data from tracking firm Chart-Track, the new Ubisoft title saw the best-selling week one sales of any Ghost Recon release to date, knocking last week's number one Max Payne 3 down a notch. Despite a 51 percent drop in sales week-over-week, Max Payne 3 still managed to top new releases Dragon's Dogma and Dirt Showdown, which took up positions at number three and four respectively. There were even more new releases in the top 40 as well, as Nintendo's Mario Tennis Open for the Nintendo 3DS debuted at number 11, and Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock for PlayStation 3 took a spot at number 34. The bottom end of the top 10 featured many of the usual suspects, with Sniper Elite V2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and FIFA Street hanging around.
