Ghost Recon: Future Soldier takes third consecutive UK number one

Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier took its third consecutive week at the top of the UK sales charts since its initial release, despite a 48 percent drop in sales week-over-week. For the week ended June 9, and according to data from tracking firm Chart-Track, Future Soldier is the third title to manage this feat in 2012, the other two being FIFA 12 and FIFA Street. Max Payne 3 continued to hold on to second place, with a 36 percent drop in sales, while EA's FIFA 12 surged back up the charts with a 48 percent increase in sales week-over-week. Battlefield 3 also jumped back up the charts with a 42 percent increase in sales, knocking Sniper Elite V2 down to number five. The charts only saw one new title this week, as Game of Thrones entered at number six.
