Lego Batman 2 continues to dominate UK charts

Traveller's Tales' Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes once against took the top of the UK sales charts last week, marking its third consecutive week at number one since its launch.

Traveller's Tales' Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes once against took the top of the UK sales charts last week, marking its third consecutive week at number one since its launch. For the week ended July 7, and according to data from tracking firm Chart-Track, Lego Batman 2 saw a 30 percent decrease in sales week-over-week, yet still managed to hold off the increasing popularity of London 2012: The Official Video Game, which in comparison saw an 81 percent increase in sales. The highest new entry into the charts was the Game of the Year edition of Techland's 2011 zombie shooter Dead Island, which managed fifth in the charts in its opening week. Elsewhere, Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy for the Nintendo 3DS launched at number 19, while Funcom's PC MMO entered the charts at number 38. Note that the latter doesn't include digital sales.
