Newsbrief: Atari has published the multiplayer shooter Minimum on Steam's Early Access service today for $20, marking the company's first foray into the business of selling unfinished games. You may remember that Minimum was originally a free-to-play title in development by TimeGate Studios, before the company filed for bankruptcy early last year. Atari bought the rights to Minimum at auction, and later tapped Human Head Studios to complete the project. Prior to finishing Minimum, Human Head worked on the Wii U port of Batman: Arkham Origins and the mobile game Fort Courage. The studio has also quietly contributed to games like Bioshock Infinite and Defiance in the wake of having their last premier project, Prey 2, shelved by publisher Bethesda Softworks. Atari, meanwhile, continues to pay back significant debts it owes in an effort to exit bankruptcy and become a major publisher again.
