Modern Warfare 3, Deus Ex top Amazon 2011 best-seller charts

Amazon has revealed its top-selling retail and digital video games of 2011, with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution taking the respective crowns.

Amazon has revealed its top-selling retail and digital video games of 2011, with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution taking the respective crowns. As reported by news website Joystiq, the likes of Just Dance 3, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Battlefield 3 also featured high in the overall physical format chart for last year. Amazon noted that the physical chart combined all platforms for each title, and did not include collector's editions of each applicable game. The digital top 10, topped by Deus Ex: Human Revolution, also included Battlefield 3, The Sims 3 and Battlefield Bad Company 2 riding high. In comparison, The Sims 3 and Civilization V were two notable titles that featured high in the digital top 10, but could not be found in the retail top 10.
