Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami has revealed the first game to come out of his Tokyo-based development house Tango Gameworks, as he once again dips into the survival horror genre.
Newsbrief: Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami has revealed the first game to come out of his Tokyo-based development house Tango Gameworks, as he once again dips into the survival horror genre. Mikami formed Tango Gameworks in 2010, and the studio was acquired by Bethesda Softworks parent Zenimax soon after. Talking to Japanese magazine Famitsu, and as translated by Andriasang, Mikami said the first game from Tango is codenamed "Zwei", on which he is the executive director. While the Famitsu report is light on details, Mikami says that the game will most likely be released for next-gen consoles, and that he chose the survival horror setting because he felt it would match fan expectations of him.
