Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was dethroned from the top of the UK software sales charts last week, after a four consecutive week reign. For the week ended December 10, and according to data from tracking firm Chart-Track, Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim took the top spot, thanks in part to numerous price reductions both at retail and online. Chart-Track noted that the game saw an average price reduction of £13 ($20.21) across the majority of outlets, and that sales for the title were up 145 percent week-over-week. Modern Warfare 3 still managed to grab number two with a 7 percent drop in sales, in a week where no new titles entered the top 10. Ubisoft's Just Dance 3 saw a notable jump in sales, up to position three, with a 67 percent rise in sales week-over-week. This was in part due to the release of the PS3 version, although the Wii version still accounted for 89 percent of the week's sales. Elsewhere in the charts, the likes of FIFA 12, Assassin's Creed: Revelations and Battlefield 3 held firm as per usual, while Super Mario 3D Land dropped out of the top 10, and Mario Kart 7 took its place at the bottom. Below are Chart-Track's all-platforms sales charts, which include unit sales of all versions of a given title, and the individual platform charts, which treat individual SKUs separately.
