Rebellion Developments and 505 Games' tactical shooter Sniper Elite V2 launched at the top of the UK sales charts last week, while Warner Bros. Interactive's Mortal Kombat for PS Vita only just managed to scrape into the top 40. For the week ended May 5, and according to data from tracking firm Chart-Track, Rebellion's remake of its original 2005 release took the top spot, knocking last week's number one Prototype 2 down a notch to number two. The only other new release last week was Mortal Kombat for the PS Vita, which only managed to reach number 33 in the charts in its opening week. Otherwise the charts were business as usual, with EA taking up a good portion of the top 10 via FIFA 12, FIFA Street, Mass Effect 3, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 and Battlefield 3. Microsoft's Kinect Star Wars also held firm in the top 10 despite being a Kinect-specific title, while Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 re-entered the top 10 at the bottom. Below are Chart-Track's all-platforms sales charts, which include unit sales of all versions of a given title, and the individual platform charts, which treat individual SKUs separately. UK All-Platforms Top 10 1. Sniper Elite V2 (505 Games) 2. Prototype 2 (Activision) 3. FIFA 12 (EA) 4. FIFA Street (EA) 5. Mass Effect 3 (EA) 6. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 (EA) 7. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (Activision) UK Individual Platforms Top 10 The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Sniper Elite V2 took the top two spots in Chart-Track's individual formats top 10 chart, knocking Prototype 2 down into positions three and five. As with the all-platforms chart, EA held half of the positions in the top 10, mainly via Xbox 360 releases. 1. Sniper Elite V2 (505 Games, Xbox 360) 2. Sniper Elite V2 (505 Games, PS3) 3.
