British developer Curve Studios pitched quite the curveball today, announcing that Stealth Inc 2, a sequel to its previous stealth platformer, is coming exclusively to the Nintendo Wii U. The original game was previously released in 2011 for PC as Stealth Bastard, before receiving releases for Android, iOS, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, under the name Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark. Notably, Stealth Inc was never released on a Nintendo platform, making this move a rather surprising one. Curve Studios has worked with Nintendo before, when it released Fluidity: Spin Cycle for the Nintendo 3DS. And the team explains in a blog post, "We've never been a Sony exclusive developer, and have always loved working with Nintendo." "Before Sony became a big name for indie developers, we had released two full games on both the Wii and 3DS," adds Curve's Rob Clarke. "So we're no strangers to making games with Nintendo. Nintendo as a company truly love and care about games, they've been wanting to see Stealth Inc come to the platform for many years, and we've finally now had an opportunity to work with them again."
