Newsbrief: Telltale's The Walking Dead took home the Game of the Year award at the Spike TV tenth annual Video Game Awards over the weekend, while Telltale won Studio of the Year. The game series, split into five chapters, also won the Best Downloadable Game and Best Adapted Video Game awards, while Melissa Hutchison, the voice of Clementine from the game, won Best Performance By a Human Female. Notably, another game and studio also stole the show, but in an entirely different way. A trailer for The Phantom Pain was shown (as seen below), from Swedish studio Moby Dick Studio. However, closer inspection suggests that Moby Dick Studio CEO Joakim Mogren is actually Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima (Joakim is an anagram of Kojima), and that the main character in the trailer is Solid Snake -- leading many to believe that the game is actually Metal Gear Solid V in disguise. The full results from the awards show can be found over on the official website.
