With reports circulating about PlayJam's release date for the GameStick, Gamasutra was able to reach out to the company and confirm that the $80 microconsole would be shipping worldwide this September 30th. PlayJam had previously announced that GameStick units would be shipping out for Kickstarter backers by mid-September. A few days ago, several online storefronts including Amazon and Gamestop began listing the release date as September 30th -- which is often but not always a solid indication of a ship date, so Gamasutra sought direct comment from PlayJam in order to verify.
