Valve provided blogger Devin White with a pre-release but final Steam Controller, and he's given us all a peek at the device -- in fact, he's written a comprehensive look at how the controller works not just for playing games; he also details what sorts of configuration options Valve's offering players.
He even contrasts it against an older iteration of the Steam Controller that Valve had given out in the past.
It's a nice window into a device that it seems very likely developers are going to be expected to support from this fall onward, and worth a read for those who are curious exactly what Valve plans to ship in the autumn. You can check it out here.
