Newsbrief: Amazon's Android Appstore has now launched in parts of Europe, allowing users in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain to download apps through the third-party store. The store launched last year in the U.S., allowing registered Amazon users to purchase and download Android apps through Amazon using any web browser, or through the Amazon Appstore Android app. As of March this year, the store had over 31,000 apps. Research from mobile analytics firm Flurry found that Amazon's Android Appstore is generating significantly more revenue per user that Google's own Play store.
