A new statement from Cave notes that Ito Masahito has also left the company for personal reasons. Kenichi Takano, chairman of the board at Cave, has taken over the president role. The Japanese company was founded back in 1994, and is best known for its shoot 'em ups like Deathsmiles and the Dodonpachi series.
