Newsbrief: The executive shake-up continues at Square Enix, as the company's U.S president and CEO Mike Fischer has quit, according to media reports. Fischer previously joined Square Enix in 2010. Polygon reports that he is now vice president of digital music and video for Amazon in Japan, and that he left Square Enix on good terms. This follows the resignation of Square Enix president Yoichi Wada earlier this year. The company isn't in top shape right now, as it posted a swing to significant losses for the last fiscal year. UPDATED: We have reached out to Square Enix for confirmation and received the following statement: "We can confirm that Mike Fischer is no longer with Square Enix. We'd like to thank Mike for all of his efforts and contributions to the company and to its employees."
