The team at Crypt of the NecroDancer studio Brace Yourself Games is growing a bit bigger this week with the addition of Duskers (pictured) developers Tim Keenan and Jeremy Phillips.

It's an interesting blending of talent, given that both Crypt and Duskers garnered notable critical acclaim (including IGF award nominations and honorable mentions) ahead of their respective 2015 and 2016 releases.

Moving forward, Keenan will serve as a creative director at Brace Yourself while Phillips will work as a programmer.

Phillips and Keenan had worked together on both Duskers and A Virus Named Tom under the aegis of Misfits Attic, the indie studio Keenan cofounded with his wife in 2011. It's unclear whether Misfits Attic will continue to be a going concern.
