Devs looking for mentorship and support should know that applications for GSVLabs' third Core Labs Game Accelerator program are open now through Sunday, August 7th.
This is chiefly of interest for devs who are looking for feedback and advice about the business side of game development, and the program's mentors include folks from places Glass Bottom Games, WB Games, Nvidia and Electronic Arts.
Sponsors like Nvidia, Amazon, Razer and Intel are also involved, both to give advice and support developers' efforts via discounted/free access to hardware, software or services.
However, it's worth noting that to apply you must submit a playable prototype, and you must agree to give Core Labs a 5 percent share of the revenue from the game you take through the accelerator program.
Core Labs switched to an online-only format earlier this year, and that seems to have worked out well enough that the organization is maintaining that format. Developers interested in taking part can learn more about the venture and submit their application for this latest program via the Core Labs Game Accelerator website.
