Newsbrief: Multiple outlets including AllThingsD are reporting that the president of Microsoft's Interactive Entertainment Business, Don Mattrick, is departing the company to become CEO of Zynga. Mattrick, who famously said during last month's E3 that backwards compatibility for consoles was "backwards" thinking, and that the solution to Xbox One's then-publicized 24-hour check-in requirement was to buy an Xbox 360, is expected to officially announce his new position at Zynga as early as later today, after markets close.
