Electronic Arts has announced that its latest Family Game Night title will add Kinect and Move support and feature a number of games ripped from the Family Game Night television show. Family Game Night 4: The Game Show will include five games based on challenges from the series' TV counterpart, all of which draw influence from popular Hasbro board games and toys, such as Connect 4 and Bop-It. In October 2010, Family Game Night became a televised game show on family-friendly TV network The Hub, and the show now serves as inspiration for the upcoming game. Traditionally, the Family Game Night titles have featured more traditional interpretations of classic Hasbro properties. This installment of Family Game Night will support motion control across all three major consoles, adding Kinect support on Xbox 360 and Move support on the PlayStation 3. EA also noted that the series has sold over four million units worldwide across retail and digital platforms since the first Family Game Night title shipped in 2008. Family Game Night 4: The Game Show will launch on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii in fall 2011.
