Electronic Arts' Chief Creative Director Richard Hilleman and Carnegie Mellon Entertainment Technology Center executive producer Don Marinelli will keynote the second annual Game Education Summit (GES), to be held on June 16th and 17th in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. GES is aimed at instructors of college and university game development programs, and will offer a variety of education-related discussion sessions during its two-day event at Carnegie Mellon University's Entertainment Technology Center. Richard Hilleman has been employed in the games industry for more than 25 years, and has worked on the inaugural entries in Electronic Arts' popular Madden and Tiger Woods sports franchises. Hilleman took over as Chief Creative Director at EA in 2008. Professor Don Marinelli executive produces Carnegie Mellon's Entertainment Technology Center program, which assembles artists and programmers to develop on-campus digital media projects. The ETC program has taken on projects for Give Kids the World, the New York City Fire Department, and Kodak, among other companies and organizations.
