Recently unveiled cloud-based development and delivery platform Gamebrain has announced it will be partnering with analytics provider Kontagent to better tailor the service to small and mid-range developers. A proposed one-stop shop for everything from planning to publishing and monetization, Gamebrain -- which is not yet open to the public -- is a subsidiary of mobile publisher Connect2Media, and is bolstered by venture capital from Foresight Group and Enterprise Ventures. Kontagent, whose customers include Ubisoft and EA, is geared toward providing individualized mobile analytics based on specified business goals and targets. "Empowering smaller teams with the intelligence in which the big publishers have easier access is important to the overall health of our industry," says Kontagent channel development GM Anthony Yoo, in conjunction with the announcement. "Kontagent is committed to supporting the exploding mobile marketplace... and Gamebrain will be a critical vehicle in this effort." Gamebrain is currently accepting signups for its closed beta, which is set to launch later this year.
