Newsbrief: German free-to-play mobile games company Flaregames has secured 2 million euros ($2.6 million) in funding, bringing its total funding this year to over $10 million. The studio, set up by Gameforge founder Klaas Kersting, raised $7.9 million in funding earlier this year. It has now received an extra $2.6 million from telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom's investment arm T-Venture. Kersting said in a statement that his company will now work together with Deutsche Telekom to market their future mobile games, and plans to release eight mobile games during 2012.
