Location: San Francisco, CA The GREE Game Studio develops AAA games for the iOS and Android platforms. The Studio builds games natively using the advantages of each operating system. To date, the Studio’s published titles have all been in iTunes top 10 Free-to-Play apps (both in terms of downloads and revenue). Our game portfolio includes: Crime City, Modern War, Kingdom Age and Monster Quest. We have many new games in production. As a Senior Engineering Manager at GREE Studio Engineering, you will own technical projects and provide leadership for a group of very talented engineers in an innovative and fast-paced environment. You will lead the overall planning, execution and success of complex technical projects. This position is not a pure management position. Our Engineering Managers are expected to contribute technically to the work as well. Responsibilities:
Coordinate and lead projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the development of technical activities.
Lead a team of engineers to build highly resilient, highly scalable server side components that serve a number of game titles produced by our game studio
Collaborate closely with business intelligence team, game teams to build new features that help in user acquisition, engagement and monetization.
Coach or mentor highly talented engineers & help them succeed in their career paths
