Google's wireless Daydream View virtual reality headset, which was officially unveiled at the Made By Google event in October, will be heading to retail later this month

The $79 headset will be available for purchase on the Google Store and at selected retailers on November 10.

The Daydream View works in tandem with a Daydream compatible smartphone, and promises to serve up a buffet of game, video, and other exploratory experiences.

The headset also comes packed with a small remote-like controller, which sports a clickable touchpad, two buttons, and motion sensors that can be used to interact with the virtual world.

Daydream View will launch first in the U.S., Canada, Germany, Australia, and the UK. There's no word on when, or even if, the device will be released in other regions.
