IndieCade organizers have named the winners of the show's 2012 game awards, with Molleindustria's Unmanned scooping the Grand Jury prize, while also revealing a new show bound for New York City in 2013.
IndieCade organizers have named the winners of the show's 2012 game awards, with Molleindustria's Unmanned scooping the Grand Jury prize. The awards aim to recognize "superior examples of story development, visual, technological, audio and all-around independent game titles," alongside developers who have contributed greatly to the indie game space. Other winners included RSBLSB's PSN puzzle shooter Dyad which took home the award for Best Audio, while Amanita Design's Botanicula won Best Story/World Design. IndieCade also revealed that it will host a new show, called IndieCade East, in New York City from February 16-17, 2013. The first annual show will feature finalists and award winners from the main IndieCade show for attendees to play.
