Opinion: How will Project 2025 impact game developers?
The Heritage Foundation's manifesto for the possible next administration could do great harm to many, including large portions of the game development community.
In what the college is calling "the first known instance of [an] art museum presenting a solo exhibition to a video game maker," the celebrated independent dev's games will go on show.
Early next year, The Davis Museum at Wellesley College will open a solo exhibition of the work of celebrated independent developer Jason Rohrer, which will focus on four of his games: Inside a Star-Filled Sky, Primrose, Diamond Trust of London, and Cordial Minuet.
Rohrer's Passage is on display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, but the Davis Museum maintains that this is "the first known instance of [an] art museum presenting a solo exhibition to a video game maker."
The exhibition is entitled The Game Worlds of Jason Rohrer, and will open on February 10, 2016, free to the public.
According to its website, design firm IKD has been contracted to design the exhibition and has an image of what it will look like on its site, which we've reproduced below.
If you're interested in updates on the exhibition, keep your eye on the Davis Museum's official Twitter account.
