Newsbrief: LucasArts has announced Star Wars 1313, a new video game franchise based on the popular space action series, that the studio says will be a darker, more mature take on the Star Wars universe. Players will take control of a bounty hunter exploring the Coruscant underworld, as he attempts to uncover a criminal conspiracy. The game promises third-person gritty combat, as opposed to supernatural Force powers. LucasArts is working alongside Industrial Light & Magic, Lucasfilm Animation and Skywalker Sound on the game, and plans to give the first glimpse of the game at E3 this month. No details regarding platform or release window have been announced as-of-yet.
