LucasArts unveils 'dark and mature' Star Wars 1313 franchise

Newsbrief: LucasArts has announced Star Wars 1313, a new video game franchise based on the popular space action series, that the studio says will be a darker, more mature take on the Star Wars universe. Players will take control of a bounty hunter exploring the Coruscant underworld, as he attempts to uncover a criminal conspiracy. The game promises third-person gritty combat, as opposed to supernatural Force powers. LucasArts is working alongside Industrial Light & Magic, Lucasfilm Animation and Skywalker Sound on the game, and plans to give the first glimpse of the game at E3 this month.
