At E3 on Monday, Microsoft Game Studios confirmed the rumored Xbox 360 remake of the original Xbox’s 2001 signature shooter Halo: Combat Evolved -- Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. The remake commemorates the 10th anniversary of Bungie’s original Halo first-person shooter, a game that played no small role in establishing Microsoft’s fledgling video game business. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is due to arrive on November 15. Microsoft did not confirm a delivery method, though a digital Xbox Live Arcade version is plausible. The game will include upgraded graphics, updated multiplayer maps and a “fully remastered campaign,” among other features.
