The Farm Story 2 studio has picked up a new chief creative officer and president -- with backgrounds in popular casual franchises at EA, Disney, and Zynga.
Newsbrief: Farm Story 2 developer Storm8 announced two new executive hires today: Tim LeTourneau (pictured, right) is its new chief creative officer while Steve Parkis (left) is taking on the role of its president of Games and Network. Both come to the company from Zynga, where LeTourneau was also chief creative officer; Parkis was its SVP of games. Both men oversaw such hits as Farmville and CityVille during their tenure at the company. Before Zynga, LeTourneau worked on The Sims, and over saw EA's Sims Studio prior to his departure. Parkis, meanwhile, worked on the popular Club Penguin MMO franchise at Disney. "Tim and Steve’s combined creative and operational leadership bring us the tandem skill set required to take Storm8 to our next stage of growth," Storm8 CEO and co-founder Perry Tam said in a statement.
