After promising a web-based version of its Miiverse social network, Nintendo has finally launched the browser and mobile Miiverse website. Visiting Miiverse.nintendo.net from a web browser on either PC or a mobile device allows Nintendo Wii U users who have a Nintendo Network ID to sign in and check their activity feed, as well as seeing community posts and checking the latest Miiverse announcements. Although there is currently only the functionality to view posts, Nintendo says the ability to also post to the social network via browser is coming soon. Miiverse functionality is also on the way to the Nintendo 3DS later this year. Although Nintendo says that a Miiverse mobile app is in the works, the web version has already been built to be suitable for mobile, with the menu along the top and messages scrolling from top to down -- much like the Twitter mobile app. Wii U owners can log in to the browser-based Miiverse website now.
