Rachel Bryk, best known for her contributions to the development of the Dolphin emulator, passed away last week at the age of 23.

On Saturday a memorial post was published on the Dolphin website mourning Bryk's passing and celebrating her positive impact on the emulation community.

Special attention was paid to her work improving Dolphin to make it more accessible to tool-assisted speedrunners, to her efforts in turn to bridge the gap between the TAS and Dolphin communities at large, and to her positive impact on the community.

"She regularly helped users...and was one of the most helpful developers we've ever had," read the post. "She will be missed greatly by everyone. We are stronger, better people thanks to knowing her."
